You will be responsible for leading and managing the sales operations across the region.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading and managing the sales operations across the region. You will be creating and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and increase STAAH’s

market share across South East Asia. You will be responsible for managing the South East sales team and budgets, ensuring Return on Investment is achieved on sales activity and spend.


  • Be the leader for different SEA country managers, formulate the sales strategy for their country with the country managers. Determine the goals, monitor and review performance, take action as required to achieve these goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure sales targets are achieved
  • Play a significant role with developing relationships with hotel groups/chain sign ups within the SEA region.
  • Maintaining client relationships, analyzing current strategies, and developing improved action plans
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure the Senior leadership team are informed on the progress.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better their business objectives and needs
  • Take a strategic approach to secure more enterprise (group) accounts for the region
  • Effectively communicate the value propositions of STAAH solutions through presentations and proposals
  • Develop and manage the Sales budget with a focus on ROI
  • Increase brand awareness and market share across the region
  • Prepare and present monthly reports
  • Understand industry specific trends and landscape
  • Work with the South East Asia Partner services team to ensure post sales onboarding and training is actioned effectively. Mentor/coach the country managers and teams.
  • Determine the team structure with the manager, help with recruiting.
  • Identify business opportunities and/or constraints to the business growth and find solutions.
  • Sales/relationship management: Act as the senior figurehead and escalation point for the region:
  • Represent STAAH at country/region events, be the in-market ambassador for STAAH.
  • Originate group sales opportunities, work with managers to identify target groups, determine and execute a sales plan, lead in closing group sales
  • Act as the senior relationship person for key accounts (in addition to country manager), attend Quarterly Business Reviews, be the senior escalation point for any issues
  • Present the region to investors and internally.

Ideal Candidate profile

  • Preferred base location: Indonesia (Jakarta or Bali)
  • Willing to travel in South East Asia Region
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a senior sales manager
  • Minimum of 10 years from Hospitality Technology sector
  • Experienced in management of sales team members, monitor their performance and mentoring.
  • Must have knowledge and experience in dealing with Revenue Management, Online Travel Agents, Property Management Systems, Payment Gateways
  • Professional contacts in the industry with Hotel and Accommodation Providers
  • Well versed with Sales Force or other similar CRM tools.
  • Understanding of how to position products against competitors
  • Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
